Performance Characteristics

ZH-VF16E UAV platform is an electric-powered long-endurance compound-wing VTOL UAV independently developed by our company. It adopts the overall layout of the fixed-wing combined with the quad-rotor (4+1), which solves the problem of vertical take-off and landing of fixed-wing UAV in a simple and reliable way. It has the characteristics of long flight time, high speed and long distance of fixed-wing UAV and the function of vertical take-off and landing of rotary-wing UAV. The vertical take-off and landing mode greatly enhances the modification of the UAV platform. The UAV platform can operate smoothly in mountainous areas, hills, jungles and other complex terrains and areas with dense buildings, which greatly expands the application range of UAV and is ideal as industrial UAV.

ZH-VF16E UAV platform is equipped with an industrial-grade vertical takeoff and landing fixed-wing flight control and navigation system as well as professional aerial photography, aerial survey and ground station inspection software, which can ensure the autonomous flight of the UAV in the whole process, and complete the flight stages such as autonomous take-off, flight status change, autonomous cruise and autonomous landing without operator intervention. It also supports automatic route planning of 1000 way-points and emergency diversion plan of 100 way-points.

ZH-VF16E UAV platform has the following characteristics and advantages:  

a) practical and efficient: the fixed-wing UAV has the characteristics of long flight time, fast speed, long distance and large load;

b)  Vertical take-off and landing: the take-off and landing mode of rotary-wing UAV greatly reduces the take-off and landing site and airspace requirements;

c) Low cost of use: no need for complex and bulky transmission and recovery equipment, no need to add additional recovery sensors;    

d) Easy operation: integrated special flight control and navigation system, full autonomous flight, operators only need to send flight plans, no professional training and operational experience;

e) Compact system: no need for complex auxiliary equipment, simple transportation, expansion, maintenance and withdrawal.
